Coming from the Tamar Bridge:

On reaching the Plymouth side of the Tamar Bridge proceed straight along the dual carriageway for some two miles taking the third exit marked A386 to Tavistock and the City Centre.
Then take the fourth exit off the roundabout which brings you past the Golden Hind Pub and a garage on your left.
Carry straight on up the hill and along a level stretch of road with three sets of traffic lights. As you drop down the hill, on a dual carriageway, turn right at the fourth set of traffic lights, half way down the hill, into Thornhill Road.
Proceed along Thornhill Road for some 150 yards taking the second turning on the left.
A short distance down this road is the junction with Whiteford Road and the Sir Francis Drake Bowling Club is facing you. Parking is ‘on the road’.

Coming from the A38 East:

The approach to Plymouth is down a long hill with an artificial ski slope clearly in view on the opposite hill to the right. Keep in the middle lane and continue straight on, across the flyover and proceed up the dual carriageway for a further two and a half miles coming off at the turning marked A386 to Tavistock and City Centre amongst other destinations.
Take the first exit off the roundabout which brings you past the Golden Hind Pub and a garage on your left.
